Members wishing to transfer their memberships during this 30-day period must send a written request via email to clubgreen@celtics.com.

WAITING LIST INFORMATION

Q: I already have season tickets... do I need to join the waiting list program to upgrade my seats?

No, one of the benefits of being a season ticket holder is access to the Season Ticket Holder Seat Relocation Process. Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to upgrade their seats, subject to availability, from separate inventory than what is made available to waiting list participants or the general public.

Q: Do I need a Celtics Club Green membership to join the waiting list program?

Yes, an active Celtics Club Green membership is required to join and remain on the season ticket waiting list, except for existing season ticket holders requesting additional seats on their account. All members, including current season ticket holders, will automatically be issued a waiting list priority number based on the date and time of the membership purchase. Once joining the waiting list, your priority number will be linked to your Celtics Club Green membership. Members not renewing their Celtics Club Green membership for the 2009-10 season will forfeit their priority number on the season ticket waiting list. Waiting list membership for 2009-10 Celtics Club Green members expires on June 30, 2010. Members can expect to receive an email containing the waiting list priority number within approzimately ten business days of their Club Green membership purchase. Club Green members can opt-out of the season ticket waiting list by sending a written request to clubgreen@celtics.com.

Q: How are waiting list participants prioritized when season tickets become available?

Each waiting list participant is given a priority number when enrolling in the Celtics Club Green program. Priority numbers are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Accounts with the lowest numerical priority numbers will have the first opportunity to purchase season tickets as they become available.

Q: How do I obtain my priority number?

Upon purchase of a Celtics Club Green membership, members will receive an email within approximately ten business days containing a priority number. Members who forget their priority numbers can email us at clubgreen@celtics.com in order to retrieve this information.

Q: Am I guaranteed season tickets for the 2010-11 season by joining the waiting list?

No, we cannot guarantee that waiting list participants will have access to season tickets for the 2010-11 NBA season or any future NBA season. Access is based on the number of season ticket locations that become available each year and the number of waiting list participants that year.

Q: When can select waiting list participants expect to first get access to 2010-11 season ticket locations?

Season ticket inventory is tentatively expected to become available in late February 2010. Select waiting list participants should expect to receive more detailed information about timing and process after the 2010 NBA All-Star break.

Q: How will the waiting list process work?

More details will be sent out after the 2010 NBA All-Star break but the following is what select waiting list participants can generally expect:

  • Waiting list members should receive an email in February providing a link to an online Seating Preferences Form where they can indicate the number of season tickets, between two and four seats, that they would like to purchase and submit their preferences for seat locations
  • Members will have approximately one week to submit their preferences via the Seating Preferences Form
  • Members must fill out the online Seating Preferences Form to be included in the next season ticket "purchase window"
  • After seating preferences are collected the Celtics will open "purchase windows" where select members whose seating preferences match with available seat locations, as determined solely by the Celtics, will have an opportunity to purchase season tickets
  • Each "purchase window" will be a 48-hour period during which select members will be offered an opportunity to purchase season tickets in accordance with their Seating Preferences Form and must purchase the tickets or else the reserved seating locations will be forfeited
  • Priority numbers will dictate when a select member's "purchase window" opens
  • Waiting list members purchasing season ticket seats will be immediately removed from the waiting list
  • Select members not purchasing during their "purchase window" will forfeit their reserved seat location and will be issued a new priority number based on the date of their re-enrollment (i.e. will be moved to the back of the line)
  • Each select member will have the opportunity to purchase a minimum of two seats and a maximum of four seats and seats must be adjacent to each other

Q: What happens when I match with an available seat location?

Select members matching with available seating locations will have the opportunity to purchase those seats for the 2010-11 season. An initial payment must be made to the Celtics for the seats within the specified deadline or that location will be forfeited.

Q: What if I don't make an initial payment on my matched seat location? Can I return to the waiting list?

An initial payment must be made to the Celtics for the seats within the specified deadline or that location will be forfeited. Members may return to the waiting list but will be issued a new priority number based on the date of their re-enrollment (i.e. will be moved to the back of the line). Members must have an active Celtics Club Green membership at all relevant times in order to re-enroll in the waiting list program.

Q: What if I do make an initial payment toward my matched seat location but change my mind at a later date and return the seats? Can I return to the waiting list?

Yes, members may return to the waiting list but will be issued a new priority number based on the date of their re-enrollment (i.e. will be moved to the back of the line). Members must have an active Celtics Club Green membership at all relevant times in order to re-enroll in the waiting list program. Season ticket payments received will remain on account and may be used towards the future purchase of season tickets, Celtics Club Green memberships, or any other Celtics ticket product. Under no circumstances will initial payments or any other payments towards Celtics season tickets be refunded.

Q: What happens if I don't match with an available seat location?

Members not matching will remain on the waiting list, will retain their priority numbers, and may have the opportunity to purchase seats at a later date. Priority numbers may be reassigned as members higher on the list purchase season tickets, but priority order will be retained -- for example if you were #5 and only two people ahead of you matched, you might be reassigned to #3.

Q: How many waiting list "purchase windows" will there be each season?

There is no set number of "purchase windows" each season. These events are dependent on the number of season ticket locations that come available each season as season ticket holders relocate and/or cancel their seats.

Q: Can I specify which seats I am interested in purchasing?

Yes, waiting list participants will have some opportunity to choose their desired seat locations. However, we highly recommend being flexible when choosing desired seat locations because participants providing very specific preferences will be far less likely to match to an available seat location than participants with more flexible preferences.

Q: Can I transfer my waiting list position to someone else?

Yes, but only under two circumstances. 1) Within the first 30 days of purchase, members transferring their Celtics Club Green membership to another person must also transfer their waiting list priority number to the same person, subject to the qualifications of the Celtics Club Green program. 2) Members may transfer their priority number to an immediate family member at any time but the Celtics Club Green membership name must change as well, subject to the qualifications of the Celtics Club Green program and if applicable . Transfers of priority numbers are not permitted outside of the 30 day window unless the transfer remains within the immediate family, subject to the qualifications of the Celtics Club Green program. Memberships may only be transferred a maximum of two (2) times.

Q: What if I don't get any seats for the 2009-10 season? Do I automatically remain on the waiting list?

No, waiting list participants must purchase a 2010-11 Celtics Club Green membership in order to retain their waiting list priority number after June 30, 2010.

BENEFITS INFORMATION

Q: What is the Club Green Individual Ticket Regular Season Onsale?

All Club Green members had the opportunity to participate in a private onsale in August 2009 during which a limited number of tickets for all 2009-10 home preseason and regular season home games were made available.

Parquet and Elite members were given "priority access" (i.e. an exclusive window) during which they had first access to the preseason and regular season onsale.

Additional offers will be extended to Club Green members exclusively throughout the season, with specific offers determined solely by the Celtics. For exclusive offers, each Club Green member will receive a special link and unique codes via email that will give him or her access to the onsale.

The Celtics expect to offer a variety of loge (limited availability), balcony, Fan Box, and Premium locations this season. However, opportunities to purchase seats will be first-come, first-served, and the Celtics cannot guarantee that members will be able to secure tickets for any particular home game and/or seating location. Members are solely responsible for acting during this exclusive onsale windows. After the Club Green offers, unsold tickets will be released to the general public or allocated to different customers.

Q: What is meant by "priority access" to the Club Green regular season onsale? (Elite and Parquet members)

Elite and Parquet members were allowed priority access to the Club Green regular season onsale in August 2009, meaning that these members were given access to the Club Green regular season onsale before other members.

Q: What is the Club Green Seating Section? (Elite members only)

The Club Green Seating Section is located in section 9 of the TD Banknorth Garden. These prime loge seats were released exclusively for our Elite members to purchase during the 2009-10 Club Green regular season onsale in August 2009.

Club Green Section seating was made available only to Elite members during their priority access window when they had the opportunity to purchase these seats before other Club Green members.

Q: What is meant by 2010 Playoff priority?

Elite Members

Should the Celtics qualify for the 2010 Playoffs, Elite members will have the opportunity to purchase Club Green Playoff Strips providing access to one potential Celtics home game in each round of the 2010 NBA Playoffs (four game package). Each Elite member may only purchase up to three (3) Club Green Playoff Strips. Payment in full will be due at the time of purchase. No refunds will be granted, except in the circumstance that the Celtics do not play a home game during the 2010 NBA Playoffs which was included in one or more Club Green Playoff Strips.

Information about Club Green Playoff Strips (dates of availability, pricing, seat locations, etc...) will be announced around March 2010. There is no obligation to purchase Playoff Strips but we will reserve enough seating so that every Elite member wishing to purchase Playoff Strips will have an opportunity to purchase at least two (2) Club Green Playoff Strips.

Elite Members will have the option of declining the opportunity to purchase Club Green Playoff Strips. Elite Members who choose to do so will be placed in the Round 1 playoff onsale detailed below for Parquet Members. Elite Members placed in the Round 1 playoff onsale are not guaranteed to receive the opportunity to purchase tickets for any playoff game, as tickets within the Round 1 playoff onsale will be made available to Elite Members on the same basis (first-come, first-served) as all other Club Green members allowed into the Round 1 playoff onsale. Elite Members will under no circumstances be allowed the opportunity to purchase both Club Green Playoff Strips and tickets via the Round 1 playoff onsale.

The Celtics cannot guarantee that each potential home game will be played during the 2010 NBA Playoffs. At the conclusion of the Playoffs, payments made towards unplayed playoff home games will be credited to members' accounts. At that time, Elite members may submit a written request for a refund or apply these payments to future purchases from the Celtics. Please allow approximately one month for the refund to be processed from the end of the 2010 NBA Playoffs.

Parquet Members

Should the Celtics qualify for the 2010 NBA Playoffs, a limited number of tickets to the Celtics' first and second home games of Round 1 of the playoffs will be made available to Parquet members on a first-come, first-served basis, and then to other Celtics Club Green members chosen at the sole discretion of the Celtics, via a separate playoff onsale. Because of limited supply, not all Parquet members will receive the opportunity to purchase tickets for either of these home playoff games.

Parquet members NOT receiving the opportunity to purchase tickets to these home games during the 2010 NBA Playoffs may have additional opportunities to purchase tickets to other playoff games or playoff rounds at a future date but the Celtics cannot guarantee access to such offers.

Q: When will the playoff onsale occur and how will the process work?

The playoff onsale is expected to occur in April 2010. Parquet members and other Celtics Club Green members chosen at the sole discretion of the Celtics should expect to receive more detailed information with dates, times, and process around March 2010.

Q: Am I guaranteed playoff tickets with my Parquet membership?

No. Parquet members will have access to a sale of select playoff tickets for the first two home games of Round 1 of the 2010 NBA Playoffs before the general public through an exclusive Celtics Club Green playoff onsale. A limited supply of tickets will be made available first to Parquet members, and then to other Celtics Club Green members chosen at the sole discretion of the Celtics, on a first-come, first-served basis for these home playoff games. Parquet members who are not able to purchase playoff seats during the playoff onsale must wait for the next playoff onsale (if applicable) to purchase tickets. The Celtics may have additional playoff onsales, but cannot guarantee that there will be more than one playoff onsale during the 2010 NBA Playoffs, should the Celtics qualify for the 2010 NBA Playoffs.

Q: What happens if I don't purchase playoff tickets or if the Celtics do not qualify for the 2010 NBA Playoffs?

Elite and Parquet members missing out on their respective opportunities to purchase 2010 Playoff tickets will not be given an additional window to purchase tickets. Members must make themselves available to purchase tickets during the playoff sale periods designated by the Celtics. Elite and Parquet members are solely responsible for acting during their respective playoff purchase windows. Refunds of the Celtics Club Green membership fee will not be granted to fans because they failed to purchase playoff tickets.

Should the Celtics fail to qualify for the 2010 NBA Playoffs, no playoff onsale will be held. Club Green Playoff Strips may be sold prior to the Celtics' qualification for the 2010 NBA Playoffs, but should the Celtics fail to qualify for the 2010 NBA Playoffs, the Playoffs Strips will be refunded according to the Terms and Conditions. Membership fees will not be refunded in whole or in part, and any playoff tickets held by members will be subject to the same refund policies (if any) as all other playoff tickets, as determined solely by the Celtics. Should a playoff game for which a member holds tickets fail to be held (for example, if the Celtics only play 5 home playoff games and a member holds tickets to Home Game 6), any playoff tickets purchased through the Celtics will be subject to the same refund policies (if any) as all other playoff tickets for that game, as determined solely by the Celtics.

Please note: The Celtics make no guarantees as to the quantity of tickets available to any Celtics Club Green member in any Celtics Club Green sale, with the exception of our offer of at least two (2) Celtics Club Green Playoff Strips to each of our Elite members -- available ticket quantities for other sales may at all times be fewer than the number of Celtics Club Green members, such that Celtics Club Green members do not have the automatic right to purchase tickets in any Celtics Club Green sale.

Q: What is the Celtics Open Practice? (Elite Members Only)

The Celtics Open Practice will be held during the 2009-10 NBA regular season and will give invited guests the exclusive opportunity to observe a private Celtics practice. The event is typically reserved for Celtics season ticket holders, but each Club Green Elite member will receive two complimentary tickets for this special event. The time, date, venue, and terms and conditions of the exclusive Celtics Open Practice will be announced prior to or during the 2009-10 NBA regular season.

Q: Can I upgrade my membership?

Yes, members are encouraged to upgrade to a Parquet or Elite membership at any time. Members wishing to upgrade must pay the difference between the prevailing price of the desired level of membership at the time of the upgrade request, as determined solely by the Celtics, and the membership fee paid when initially joining the 2009-10 Celtics Club Green program. Waiting list position will not be adversely affected by an upgrade.

Q: What kind of information can I expect in the official Celtics Club Green email newsletter?

Each month, Celtics Club Green members will receive a copy of our official email newsletter. These emails may contain the following material:

  • Important Celtics Club Green program information
  • Exclusive merchandise discount codes for use at the Celtics' official online store
  • Exclusive ticket offers for Celtics regular season or playoff games [subject to availability]

Q: How do I claim my discount at the Celtics online store?

Every month we may send members exclusive discount codes that are only available to Celtics Club Green members. These codes can be used at checkout to take 10% off members' orders on select Celtics gear sold at the Celtics' official online store, subject to the restrictions of the Celtics' official online store.

Q: Can I use my Celtics Club Green discount code or gift card at the TD Banknorth Garden Pro Shop?

No, Celtics Club Green discount codes and merchandise credits cannot be redeemed at the Garden Pro Shop. However, beginning November 1, Celtics Club Green members will receive a 10% discount on select items at the Garden Pro Shop when presenting their Club Green membership card, subject to the restrictions of the Garden Pro Shop.

Q: What kinds of offers will I receive from the Celtics' partners?

Celtics Club Green email newsletters may contain exclusive product offers from the Celtics' partners. Members may receive the exclusive opportunity to save on everything from sporting goods to cars. See your latest Celtics Club Green e-newsletter for more details on these special offers.

Q: How do I claim my merchandise credit to the online store? (Elite and Parquet members only)

Eligible members will receive their online store merchandise credit and redemption information in Fall 2009.

Q: What if I join Club Green after a particular benefit (e.g. the Club Green Regular Season Onsale) has passed?

Club Green still provides many benefits going forward, including the season ticket waiting list, potential store discounts, and access to other tickets. Please consult the information on membership levels to determine what benefits you will receive at your level of membership. Unfortunately, the Celtics cannot provide make-up benefits for new members who may have missed previous ticket sales, etc.
