BIGHORNS FORMER COACH MCCREARY TO JOIN CAVALIERS STAFF

RENO, NEV.— Former Reno Bighorns assistant coach Aubrey McCreary will join the Cleveland Cavaliers staff as a player development assistant/video coach for the upcoming NBA season.

Last season was McCreary’s first season in the NBA D-League, serving as a player development coach for the Bighorns during their Western Conference Championship run. He currently resides in Reno where he previously attended University of Nevada.

McCreary previously made a name for himself with his high-energy training sessions with some of the world’s best basketball players. He has worked with established NBA players such as Derek Fisher, Paul Millsap and Deron Williams.

In addition to working camps such as Adidas Nation and Adidas Superstar Camps, McCreary has twenty-five years of high school coaching experience and served as an assistant coach at Louisiana Tech University during the 2008-2009 season.

The Reno Bighorns next game is Friday, December 9th against the Texas Legends at the Reno Events Center. The theme for the game is Pack the Place Pink Night and fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast health awareness.
